A leading environmental agency in Singapore is seeking a scientific officer to support operations at the Tuas South Incineration Plant. The Tuas South Incineration Plant (TSIP) is responsible for the incineration of waste and the heat generated from the incineration process is recovered to produce electricity. You will be part of a team in TSIP to support the incineration process by ensuring the smooth operation of the laboratory and that the water treatment plant produces high purity demineralised water for use by the boilers for the heat recovery process.
You will work as a scientific officer in Tuas South Incineration Plant to ensure the laboratory, treatment plants and its auxiliary equipment are operating smoothly, safely and efficiently. You will be responsible for the following:
