Job summary

A commercial property management company in Singapore is seeking a Property Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of retail and commercial properties. The successful candidate will manage technicians and contractors, conduct inspections, prepare budgets, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Candidates should have a Diploma in Building Services or equivalent, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and a Senior Fire Safety Manager's Certification. Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office are essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience in retail/commercial/hospitality properties.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Manage the technicians, contractors, cleaners and security guards to ensure the proper running and maintenance of the commercial property sites as assigned, including planning the maintenance and servicing schedule, liaising with contractors, and scheduling shift duties
  • Conduct regular checks in unit and inspection on grounds to ensure property is well maintained
  • Prepare of reports and operations budgets and assist in tracking of operations budgets
  • Coordinate and review tenant’s drawings and plans to ensure compliance with design criteria & authorities’ requirements
  • Review and recommend replacement/improvement plan for managed sites
  • Ensure building statutory requirements are complied with
  • Prepare tender and quotation specification and manage Invitation to Tender (ITT) and Invitation to Quote (ITQ) for property and operations works, including regular and ad-hoc maintenance, repair and replacement works
  • Handle tenants’ maintenance related requests
  • Manage stock inventory for parts replacements
  • Manage and monitor M&E systems and schedule for repair
  • Any other related duties as and when requested
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma in Building Services, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Real Estate, or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in managing building & M&E services in retail/ commercial/ hospitality properties
  • Processes a Senior Fire Safety Manager's Certification
  • Proficient in MS Office- Word and Excel
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and meticulous
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team in a constantly evolving and fast-paced environment
