Job description

The Community Psychology Hub (CPH) is dedicated to improving people’s lives through innovative, quality psychological and research services. We work in active collaboration with partners in the social service and public sector to provide care for persons with vulnerabilities alongside their families in the community. Set up by the Ministry of Social and Family Development in 2015, we are a unit sited within SG Enable Ltd, a registered charity and an Institution of a Public Character.

You will provide operational and administrative support across finance and procurement functions. This role ensures timely and accurate processing of financial transactions, attends to department’s procurement related queries; and supports data management and reporting to strengthen organisational operations.

Responsibilities

1. Financial Operations

  • Process fund requests, claims, and invoices according to SOPs and timelines
  • Assist in preparing financial documents such as income & expenditure reports, statement of accounts, and reconciliation reports
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records in finance system; support banking transactions, reconciliations, and audit documentation
  • Help prepare responses to audit queries

2. Procurement

  • Handle procurement queries and activities such as raising PR/PO in system when required
  • Support claims and reimbursement workflows for employees and vendors

3. Data Management & Reporting

  • Support the preparation of budget utilisation and procurement tracking reports
  • Assist with maintaining and updating financial dashboards, spreadsheets, and internal trackers
  • Perform accurate data entry and support data validation exercises

4. Others

  • Assist in drafting and updating SOPs, workflows, and financial/procurement policies
  • Participate in internal process improvements or special projects as assigned
  • Keep pace with the latest trends and developments in concepts, tools, techniques, technology and innovative solutions and apply it to CPH
Requirements
  • A minimum educational qualification of Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in finance and/or procurement
  • Proficient in finance systems and MS Office (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Microsoft Excel)
  • Understanding of financial processes including claims, invoicing, and reconciliations
  • Knowledge in procurement will be an advantage

  • Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to multitask and adapt in a dynamic, mission-driven environment
