Responsibilities
  • Support the collection of premiums from clients, brokers, insurers, and reinsurers
  • Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts on a regular basis
  • Assist in reconciling accounts and resolving mismatches or payment discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all communications and collections activity
  • Collaborate with the finance team to process payment applications, handle refunds, and support bank reconciliations
  • Coordinate with internal teams (underwriting, claims) to resolve client issues impacting settlement
  • Prepare aging reports and management reports for management review
  • Provide administrative support to the credit control and finance teams as needed
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in credit control is mandatory for this role, preferably in the insurance sector
  • Strong understanding of insurance operations, billing cycles, and regulatory requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Good communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage large data volumes
  • Job title will be determined based on the final candidate's experience and fit for the role
