You will supervise and manage various outsourced services under the Environmental Services Department. You will be responsible to evaluate, implement and monitor Environmental Services related programs and services to ensure that it is delivered safely and promptly in the Hospital for our patients, visitors and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor KPIs of the various outsourced services under Environmental Services. This includes housekeeping services, linen and laundry, pest control service, waste disposal, sustainability and landscape services.
  • Review and report the services providers’ performance against targets through monthly reports
  • Conduct analysis and feedback on the variances of the KPIs
  • Work with the service providers for performance improvements
  • Prepare and monitor both capital and operating expenditure projects for the annual budgeting exercise
  • Attend to incidents and investigate promptly on the feedback received from patients, visitors and/or staff and implement corrective actions and preventive measures
  • Perform audit checks to ensure that the services are satisfactorily carried out and to ensure compliance to safety and infection control standards
  • Conduct joint inspections and walkabout with service providers to assess their performance and identify gaps and areas for improvements
  • Writing proposals and approval papers
  • Provide detailed specifications for the purpose of calling for Request for Proposals (RFP) and/or Invitation to Quotes (ITQ)
  • Undertake improvement projects
  • Any other duties assigned from time to time
Requirements
  • Degree in any relevant discipline
