About our group

The Facilities team is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, safety, and reliability of all infrastructure systems at Seagate Singapore. We support business continuity by maintaining high standards in facility management, compliance, and sustainability. The group works closely with production, EHS, engineering, and external vendors to deliver efficient solutions and continuous improvements across the site.

About the role - you will

The incumbent will lead the planning, operation, and maintenance of building and utility systems to support 24/7 manufacturing activities. You will manage facility projects, drive preventive and corrective maintenance programs, and ensure compliance with Singapore regulations and ISO standards. The role includes technical leadership, vendor management, energy efficiency initiatives, and supporting business continuity plans. You will act as a subject matter expert for facility systems and provide guidance to engineers, technicians, and operations teams.

  • Lead the planning, operation, and maintenance of building and utility systems to support 24/7 manufacturing activities.
  • Manage facility projects, including new installations, upgrades, and renovations.
  • Drive preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all facility infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore regulations and ISO standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and act as a subject matter expert for facility systems.
  • Oversee vendor and contractor management, including performance evaluation and safety compliance.
  • Support energy efficiency initiatives and sustainability programs.
  • Maintain business continuity plans and ensure emergency preparedness.
  • Guide and mentor engineers, technicians, and operations teams.

Your experience includes
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, including HVAC, chillers, electrical distribution, fire protection, and utility systems.
  • Proven experience in project management for facility installations, upgrades, and renovations.
  • Strong background in compliance, risk management, and safety practices (SCDF, EMA, NEA, BCA, MOM; ISO 9001/14001/45001).
  • Hands-on management of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Vendor and contractor management, including performance evaluation and cost justification.
  • Energy management and sustainability initiatives, with experience in monitoring and improving utility consumption.
  • Asset and documentation management, including CMMS/BMS/EMS systems.
  • Leadership in training, manpower planning, and technical support for facilities teams.
  • Crisis and incident management, including business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
