Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer to work closely with the Head of Engineering & Renewal in planning, designing, coordinating, and executing infrastructure renewal and maintenance projects. This role serves as a technical lead across multiple work fronts - overseeing design coordination, reviewing technical documentation, and ensuring that site execution aligns with engineering intent and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil, structural, or M&E engineering, coupled with hands‑on site experience in rehabilitation, upgrading, or infrastructure renewal projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and review engineering designs, drawings, and technical submissions for renewal and maintenance works.
  • Ensure all designs and site works comply with project specifications, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Provide technical solutions and support during design coordination and construction execution.
  • Develop and review method statements, inspection plans, and quality documentation.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical issues.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify quality, safety compliance, and adherence to design intent.
  • Monitor project progress and support the Head of Engineering & Renewal in technical reporting.
  • Evaluate tenders, variations, and technical proposals to ensure engineering accuracy and feasibility.
  • Mentor and guide site engineers and junior staff to strengthen overall technical capability.
Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).

Experience: Minimum 6‑10 years of relevant experience in infrastructure renewal, maintenance, or construction, including at least 2 years in a senior or lead engineering capacity.

Technical Skills
  • Strong understanding of rehabilitation and renewal methodologies.
  • Familiar with materials testing, asset inspection, and condition assessment.
  • Knowledge of monitoring instrumentation, digital twins, or asset management systems preferred.
Soft Skills
  • Strong leadership and analytical skills.
