A leading engineering company in Singapore is seeking a Senior E3D Administrator to manage the configuration, maintenance, and support of AVEVA E3D systems for projects. This role requires at least 7–10 years of experience in E3D/PDMS administration, along with strong technical expertise to ensure efficient project execution. The ideal candidate will possess excellent troubleshooting skills and be capable of liaising with cross-disciplinary teams. Training for users and maintaining system integrity are key responsibilities.
The Senior E3D Administrator is responsible for the overall setup, configuration, maintenance, and support of AVEVA E3D systems for engineering projects. This role ensures smooth project execution by managing databases, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and providing technical expertise on E3D functionalities, standards, and best practices.
Set up, configure, and maintain E3D projects, databases, hierarchies, specifications, catalogs, and reference data.
Manage user access, permissions, and project control settings.
Ensure systems comply with project execution plans, company standards, and engineering procedures.
Perform regular system health checks and troubleshoot technical issues proactively.
Support engineering disciplines (Piping, Structural, E&I, Layout) in E3D modelling activities.
Coordinate with project managers and discipline leads to ensure E3D tools meet schedule and quality requirements.
Implement updates, patches, and integrations with AVEVA suite (PDMS, Engineering, Global).
Lead data migration, project upgrades, and interface setups when required.
Ensure accuracy and integrity of E3D model data, attributes, tags, and deliverables.
Conduct periodic clash reviews, quality checks, and report generation.
Maintain project datasets, backups, and document control alignment.
Provide training, mentoring, and technical support to E3D users across disciplines.
Develop user guides, modelling procedures, standards, and best practices.
Support onboarding of new team members and monitor modelling consistency.
Liaise with AVEVA support, software vendors, and IT teams for licensing, system issues, and upgrades.
Collaborate on hardware requirements, performance optimisation, and network configurations.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
Minimum 7–10 years of experience in AVEVA E3D/PDMS administration within oil & gas, offshore, or FPSO projects.
Strong expertise in E3D project setup, administration, and database configuration.
Knowledge of AVEVA Global, Draw, Engineering, Review, and clash detection modules.
Proficiency in piping, structural, or E&I modelling rules and project standards.
Experience with data migration, integrations, and project upgrades.
Familiarity with 3D design workflows, deliverables, and engineering processes.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
Effective communication and stakeholder management.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
High level of attention to detail and quality assurance.
Background in FPSO, offshore topsides, or large-scale EPC projects.
Experience working in multi-office (global) project environments.
Knowledge of automation scripts (PML, Python, VB) is an advantage.
