JOB DESCRIPTION

• Responsible for all design phases (phase 1 to phase 5) of assigned projects including but not limited to space planning, details and 2D & 3D.
• To work closely with Design & FF&E teams to ensure designs are in accordance to contractual and client’s agreement.
• To work closely and assist in co-ordination with consultants and clients when the need arises.
• To work closely with FF&E and CAD team on producing full sets of tender & construction drawings.
• To ensure project assignments are completed within the given deadline.
• To review shop drawings.
• To attend site meetings and site/factory inspection.
• Ability to handle 1-2 projects simultaneously.
• Able to coordinate, delegate, give feedback, and mentor subordinates regarding their work and professional development including problem solving.
• Responsible for the day-to-day coordination with the client, consultants, contractors and project team.
• Responsible and monitor project schedule and work toward deadline.
• To support project manager on schedule & deliverables update for billing & forecast.
• Monitor deliverables in each project phases and design stage.
• Worked closely with Design and FF&E team in all design phases ( Ph 1 to Ph 5).
• Understand & co-ordinate contractual agreement in alignment of Client’s request.

REQUIREMENT

• Degree/Diploma in Architectural or Interior Design or equivalent.
• Minimum 5-6 years of relevant experience especially in conceptual design and detailed designing in the hospitality industries is a must.
• Experienced in handling projects in all design phases.
• Creativity and artistic flair.
• Strong in design detailing and freehand sketching or equivalent.
• Ability to interpret specifications and layouts, architectural and engineering layouts.
• Good Knowledge of site work and progress in phase 5.
• Good understanding of design (composition, planning, materials, details, furniture, and fixtures).
• Professional knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, 3D Max and sketch up will be a plus.
• Good knowledge of drawing preparation and CAD standard and strong organizational skill.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Must be meticulous, a good team player and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly motivated, strong communication, interpersonal, observation skills and team leader.
• Responsible and ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
