A leading telecom firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Operations Specialist to support and operate critical security systems. This role involves providing L1/L2 support for various security tools, monitoring platforms, and facilitating incident response. The ideal candidate will have 6 to 10 years of experience in Cybersecurity Operations, a solid understanding of security tools, and have worked in regulated environments like Telecom or BFSI. Certifications in Cisco, Palo Alto, and others are preferred.

Role: Senior Cybersecurity Operations Specialist

Location: Singapore

We are partnering with a leading telecom client to hire a Cybersecurity Operations Specialist who will support, troubleshoot, and operate critical security systems in a fast‑paced enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 support for security tools (Firewalls, WAF, EDR, VPN, Email/Web Security, DLP, IAM)
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize security platforms for performance and reliability
• Support security incident triage, investigation, and resolution (MTTD / MTTR focus)
• Perform system patching, tuning, integrations, and lifecycle management
• Work closely with SOC, IT, Network, and vendors to ensure smooth security operations

Requirements

• 6–10 years of experience in Cybersecurity Operations / Security Engineering
• Strong hands‑on experience with enterprise security tools
• Good understanding of networking, security controls, and incident handling
• Experience in regulated / large‑scale environments (Telecom, BFSI, Tech preferred)
• Relevant security certifications (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Microsoft Security – nice to have)
