Senior Coordinator/Coordinator, Regional Container Flow Planning & Steering
Job Description

Regional System Steerer owns DAP inputs and drives their accuracy with broad set of stakeholders while championing proposal adherence.

Responsibilities
  • Support management of container imbalances by executing empty repositioning plans and assisting with bookings for empty shipments.
  • Coordinate day-to-day empty movement execution with Trade Management, Network, Regional Operations, and TMCC in line with agreed plans.
  • Monitor vessel space availability and track empty loading and discharge performance, flagging deviations or risks early.
  • Support implementation of measures to improve container utilization by following agreed steering actions and priorities.
  • Maintain and update operational reports, dashboards, and trackers related to empty flows, stock levels, and vessel utilization.
  • Assist in data preparation and basic analysis of operational and cost data to support planning decisions.
  • Prepare inputs for logistics meetings, presentations, and management updates.
  • Ensure adherence to defined processes, decision frameworks, and escalation paths.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or related field.
  • Prior experience (or strong interest) in logistics, shipping, or operations planning preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with structured and disciplined execution.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to follow defined processes and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Analytical curiosity and willingness to learn data tools (e.g. Excel, Qlik).
