Who You’ll Work With

As a modern technology company, we've never met a technical challenge we didn't like. We enable our clients to learn from their data, create incredible digital experiences, and make the most of new technologies. We blend design, engineering, and analytics expertise to build the future. We surround our technologists with interesting challenges, innovative minds and emerging technologies. Our Singapore Data practice is looking to add an enthusiastic Senior Consultant (Data Engineering) to our locally based team.

What You’ll Do
  • Design, build, and operate production‑grade data pipelines and ETL / ELT / analytics engineering workflows for Fortune 100 clients—including vectorization workflows that power advanced search and retrieval.
  • Collaborate with client data and platform teams to understand requirements, translate them into scalable solutions, and automate deployment and monitoring for reliable operations.
  • Optimize data storage, query performance, and cost; troubleshoot issues across pipelines, orchestration, and infrastructure to keep systems healthy and fast.
  • Lead and participate in solutioning sessions, working hand‑in‑hand with businesses / clients to translate objectives into actionable data engineering use cases and delivery plans.
  • Communicate architecture, trade‑offs, and outcomes to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, producing clear documentation and operational runbooks.
  • Provide thought leadership on modern data platform engineering—best practices for reliability, scalability, observability, and security—tailored to the client’s environment.
What You’ll Bring
  • 8+ years of experience in software or data engineering with strong proficiency in Python.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining unit and integration tests for data pipelines and services.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI / CD, infrastructure‑as‑code, observability) and Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of relational and dimensional data modeling principles.
Nice-to‑haves
  • Experience with AWS and Kubernetes (K8s).
  • Hands‑on with data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Apache Spark, Apache Hive; familiarity with open table formats like Delta Lake and Apache Iceberg, and vector databases.
  • Experience with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, or Temporal.
  • Familiarity with GitHub workflows (Actions) and observability tools like Datadog.
