1. LNG Carrier Business
Commercial Management of LNG Carrier Projects
- Manage ongoing commercial operations for existing LNG projects.
- Manage all commercial aspects of LNG carrier newbuilding projects, including pre-delivery and post-delivery phases.
Contract & Financial Oversight
- Provide commercial support and review key contractual agreements including time charterparties and shipbuilding contracts.
- Ensure robust contract governance and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Monitor and control operating expenses (OPEX); prepare variance analysis and financial performance reports.
- Manage project-level financials, including cash flow planning and cash waterfall management to ensure timely allocation of revenues and payments in accordance with financial structures.
- Handle and resolve commercial disputes to safeguard owners’ interests.
Stakeholder & Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders including LNG charterers, sellers, and buyers.
- Organize and lead regular commercial and operational meetings with charterers and other stakeholders.
- Identify and engage with potential partners to develop mutually beneficial commercial relationships.
Business Development & Market Analysis
- Support marketing initiatives for LNG tonnage as needed.
- Conduct market research to track industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities in the LNG shipping sector.
- Contribute to the identification and development of new business opportunities aligned with company strategy.
Additional Duties
- Willingness to travel for meetings, or business development activities.
- Perform other ad-hoc assignments as required by the department.
2. Supporting Headquarter and Business Development role in:
- Liquefied Gas Business Group namely, CCS Business Team and LPG & Ammonia Team
- Energy Business Strategy Group namely, Fuel Business Team and Crude Oil and Product Group
- Any other ad-hoc assignments
Job Requirements
- Basic understanding of LNG carrier operations, chatering agreements, and shipbuilding contracts
- Preferably some relevant working experience in either LNG, Oil, LPG or Oil industry
- Familiar with OPEX tracking, budgeting, variance analysis, and cash flow (e.g., cash waterfall)
- Strong written and verbal skills; able to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Proactive, detail-oriented and willing to travel as needed.
