Job description

Overview:
Reporting to the Head of the Psychology Department, you will assist in providing cost-effective psychological services to address the behavioural and mental health issues faced by the patients of JurongHealth Service, and supervising the other psychologists among other duties.


Job Responsibilities:

  1. Providing psychological interventions to adolescents, and/ or adults population with mental health issues, emotional problems and/ or health problems in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  2. Conducting neuropsychological assessments for assisting in diagnosis (e.g. of intellectual disability, ADHD and dementia), and rehabilitation (e.g. in patients with stroke, traumatic brain injury, and other neurological conditions) in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  3. Providing clinical supervision to interns and other psychologists on the team.
  4. Running therapy and support groups.
  5. Completing administrative work (e.g. monthly statistics and KPIs) in a timely manner.
  6. Developing and delivering educational talks and workshops on psychological issues to both healthcare providers and the public.
  7. Contributing to clinical research as a member, when necessary.


Requirements:

  1. Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology.
  2. Effectively bilingual in English and another local language.
  3. Experience in providing clinical supervision.
  4. Experience working with adolescent, adult or elderly population in a hospital setting is a plus.
  5. Passionate about working in the healthcare sector.
  6. Able to function independently in a complex environment.
  7. Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player as staff is required to work closely with various multi-disciplinary teams.
  8. Eligible for registration or registered with the Singapore Psychological Society and the Singapore Register of Psychologist.
