Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to review plans, coordinate with teams, and ensure compliance with building codes. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering and have at least 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in high-rise or healthcare projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD is required. This role is based in Tampines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in civil and structural engineering.
• Experience in high-rise commercial or healthcare building projects preferred.
• Familiar with local codes and authority submission requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review structural and civil engineering plans, drawings, and calculations in accordance with project specifications, standards, and codes of practice.
• Coordinate and liaise with architects, consultants, contractors, and site teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of works.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and workplace safety requirements.
• Ensures the designs and models developed are in accordance with project requirements.
• Involved in tendering processes to ensure continuous performance improvement.Work with C&S consultants to develop structural schemes and perform engineering analysis to assess stability and load-bearing capacity.
• Prepare technical submissions, project quality plans, and submit designs to authorities for approval.
• Any other duties assigned by superior.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in civil and structural engineering, preferably in the construction industry.
• Experience in high-rise commercial building / mixed development/ semiconductor factory / healthcare building project is preferred.
• Familiar with relevant local codes, regulations, and authority submission requirements.
• Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD.
• Working Location is at Tampines.
