Overview

Alps Consults Pte. Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior / Civil and Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in the design, planning and execution of civil and structural engineering projects. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of our clients' visions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of civil and structural engineering plans, drawings and specifications for a variety of projects
• Conduct structural analyses and calculations to ensure the safety and integrity of buildings and infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, project managers and construction team, to coordinate project deliverables
• Identify and resolve complex engineering challenges, providing innovative solutions that meet regulatory requirements and client expectations
• Monitor project progress, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality
• Mentor and guide more junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to develop the team's capabilities

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer or equivalent, with a minimum of 8 years\' post-qualification experience in civil and structural engineering (Senior)
• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or other similar qualification (Junior)
• Proven track record of successfully leading the design and delivery of complex civil and structural engineering projects
• Proficient in the use of industry-standard engineering software, such as AutoCAD, ETABS and SAP2000
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills to navigate complex engineering challenges
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Proactive working attitude and self-motivated as well as a good team player
• Familiarity with local building regulations and codes, as well as a deep understanding of construction methods and materials
