Key Responsibilities

• Source and secure vessels for spot and time charters aligned with business needs.
• Negotiate charter terms and finalise contracts, ensuring compliance and risk management.
• Develop chartering strategies based on market insights and company goals.
• Manage relationships with cargo owners, shipowners, brokers, and charterers.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support charter execution and monitor performance.
• Track market trends and fixture data, providing commercial insights and reporting to leadership.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of chartering experience, ideally within the container liner shipping sector.
• Bachelor's degree in Maritime, Shipping, Business, or related discipline.
• Proven success in charter negotiations, with sound knowledge of vessel specs and market pricing.
