Role Overview

The Associate Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving business growth within the Banking, Financial Services & Insurance (BFSI) sector.

This individual will identify opportunities, build strategic relationships, and close deals for IT services, digital transformation, and software solution offerings.

The role requires a strong blend of technical solution understanding and strategic sales acumen in the BFSI domain.

This is an individual contributor position with full ownership of the sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute account plans, account mapping, and business growth strategies.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new opportunities within the banking and financial services sector.
  • Lead proposal development, pricing, negotiation, contracting (MSA/SOW), and deal closure.
  • Collaborate with solution and delivery teams to craft tailored IT software and digital solutions that address client business needs.
  • Engage with C-level and senior stakeholders, presenting Infosys’ value propositions and technology capabilities.
  • Drive account mining, relationship management, and client retention initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging digital opportunities within BFSI.
Requirements
  • Experience in technical solution sales, IT services, or software solutions business, preferably within BFSI.
  • Strong in handling technical solutions and IT software services business sales in the banking and financial sector.
  • Solid background in IT software solutions with a clear understanding of how technology drives business outcomes.
  • Proven ability to prospect, qualify, and close enterprise-level IT service deals.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and C-level stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
  • Strong business acumen and deep understanding of IT services and software solutions in the financial domain.
