A leading firm in M&A advisory is seeking a professional in Singapore to provide hands-on support for due diligence and M&A activities. This role involves conducting market research, evaluating risks and opportunities, and developing post-merger integration strategies. The ideal candidate will manage capital allocation and work closely with external partners throughout the deal lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Providing hands-on support for cross-functional due diligence work streams on potential M&A targets.
• Undertake periodic market research and competition analyses.
• Evaluate risks and opportunities for M&A activities, providing insights on valuation.
• Develop post-merger integration roadmap and ensure successful execution.
• Build and maintain relationships with external partners to support M&A processes.
• Lead the development of valuation and financial models.
• Recommend and manage capital allocation in private markets.

Job description

• Providing “hands‑on” support for cross‑functional due diligence work streams on potential M&A targets
• Undertake periodic market research and competition analyses; prospect potential M&A targets across markets, industries and geographies that complement the overall business blueprint and season goals
• Evaluate the risks and opportunities for impending and ongoing M&A activities; translating this information into fact‑based and well‑reasoned insights on the valuation and recommend appropriate deal structure
• Develop post‑merger integration roadmap and ensure the successful execution of the integration project
• Build and maintain relationships with our external partners, such as investment banks and external consultants to support the management and execution of the M&A process throughout the deal cycle
• Lead the development of valuation and financial models as required
• Recommend and manage the capital allocation in private markets across a range of industries
