Overview

Join us as a Senior/ Assistant Manager in our Subvention & Pricing team, SingHealth Community Hospitals reporting to Senior Assistant Director, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring financial sustainability. You will be responsible for the following areas:

Subvention and Pricing Operations

  • Prepare accurate and timely reports to MOH, identifying opportunities to enhance financial sustainability
  • Support subvention operationalisation and provide financial analytics support for dashboards and reports
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to cost services and ensure all relevant costs are captured in the costing of patient related services
  • Assist the work associated with the national costing guidelines exercise including cost systemisation projects
  • Lead stakeholder engagement in cost-benefit analysis for patient billing services and develop business cases for new initiatives and process improvements
  • Regular review of market competitiveness of fees and assist in negotiation of patient billing rates in service level agreements
  • Deliver financial analytics support as and when required

Strategic Partnership and Operations

  • Serve as business partner to SCH departments, providing financial expertise and guidance
  • Prepare and maintain standardised policies and procedures across all SCH Community Hospitals
  • Take ownership of the costing system
  • Ensure all Key Performance Indicator targets for the Finance Subvention and Pricing Unit on the Balanced Scorecard are met
  • Support the preparation of annual work plan and budget for the team
  • Drive continuous improvements in subvention and pricing processes
  • Collaborate on cross-departmental projects that impact subvention and pricing operations and undertake special projects as assigned by supervisor

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting
  • Professional accounting qualification (CA, ACCA) is preferred
  • 4-5 years of relevant experience
  • Prior experience in a Healthcare setting is preferred
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
