Senior Application Manager (Physics background / R&D to Industrial scale)

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of reader devices and security detectiontechnology on fromR&D conceptto industrial scale.
• Perform DOE ofmeasurements and simulations and compile insights into actionable plans.
• Collaborate with subcontractors to design and manufacture next-generation detection units.
• Improve existing technologies and develop new measurement methods to ensure top-tier detection performance.
• Provide technical training and support to clients and be Point of Contact.
• Manage a R&D lab, guide your team's growth, and ensure projects stay on track and deliver exceptional results.
• Prepare clear, compelling demonstrations for stakeholders and potential clients.
• Oversee rapid development of POCs for concept validation.
• Report findings to management and stakeholders with clarity and precision.

Requirements

• A PhD in Physics, or a related discipline.
• With minimum of8-10 years relevant experience in R&D application of electronics devices/embedded technology.
• Deep knowledge of radiation sources, spectroscopy, or reader devices.
• Experience in commercializing new technology forinternational project teams.
• Industrial manufacturing experience.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills you can explain complex science in simple terms.
• A collaborative, hands-on, solutions-focused mindset.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours to bridge global teams.
