Job summary

A company in the Food & Beverage industry in Singapore is seeking an Accounts Executive to manage full set of accounts. The role requires at least 3 years of accounting experience, QuickBooks proficiency, and the ability to handle high-volume transactions under pressure. Key responsibilities include preparing financial reports and coordinating year-end audits. This is a permanent position with working hours from 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ accounting experience, preferably in F&B/Retail.
  • Experience in an accounting role involving full set of accounts.
  • Able to multitask and work under pressure with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver monthly management reports and support annual budgets.
  • Run computerized accounting & HR systems.
  • Prepare/file quarterly GST returns.
  • Supervise junior admin/accounting staff.

  • Working Location: Wan Lee Road (Near Boon Lay MRT)
  • Working Hours: 5 days (Monday-Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm)
  • Salary Package: Basic Salary + AWS + VB
  • Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver monthly management reports, support annual budget, compile data for financial analysis.
  • Run computerized accounting & HR systems, perform data entry to meet month-end close.
  • Print/file monthly GL, general journal, supplier/customer ledgers, prepare month-end schedules.
  • Produce overhead costing (factory/outlet/office) and inventory movement reports, reconcile raw‑material purchases to the Purchase Ledger, lead stocktakes as required and at year‑end with auditors.
  • Control petty cash, payment vouchers, cheque issuance, cash disbursements, assist monthly bank reconciliations for all bank accounts.
  • Send monthly customer statements to franchise partners/customers, follow up on collections for delivered goods.
  • Maintain audit‑ready filing per IRAS 5‑year retention requirement.
  • Prepare/file quarterly GST returns and IR37 withholding tax to IRAS.
  • Arrange year‑end audit, prepare confirmation letters, liaise with external auditors, company secretarial provider, tax agents, and bankers.
  • Support HQ/affiliates on documentation, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Supervise and guide junior admin/accounting staff.
  • Perform other duties or ad‑hoc assignments as required by management.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or higher in Accounting.
  • Minimum 3 years’ accounting experience, preferably in F&B/Retail.
  • QuickBooks proficiency is mandatory.
  • Experience in an accounting role involving full set of accounts.
  • Able to independently handle high‑volume transactions, multitask, and work under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Strong team player, resilient, accountable, and adaptable to change.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
