Job summary

A leading entertainment company in Singapore seeks a Finance Manager to oversee full sets of accounts and prepare consolidated financial statements for the Group. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably in large CPA firms. Responsibilities include handling tax filings, financial modeling, and liaising with auditors. Strong communication skills in English and Chinese are required, along with the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' relevant working experience, preferable in sizable CPA firms.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations is essential.

Responsibilities

• Handle full sets of accounts for Singapore, including monthly closing activities.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements of the Group.

Job Responsibilities

• Direct report to the Group CFO & Senior Finance Manager
• Handle full sets of location accounts for Singapore, including general ledger, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, and month-end closing activities.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements of the Group
• Monthly closing for Group companies (Hong Kong, Singapore and Overseas)
• Handling tax filings for Group companies (Hong Kong, Singapore and Overseas)
• Cross-Regional Finance Coordination
• Participate in finance modeling, accounting and managerial reports, budgeting, cash flow forecast and analysis on financial and business performance
• Formulate financial management policies and accounting procedures
• Liaise with financial institutions on treasury and cash flow management matters
• Liaise with auditors and other professionals regarding audit and tax and compliance matters
• Any ad-hoc duties and special projects as assigned by the Group CFO & Senior Finance Manager

Job Requirements

• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines;
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant working experience gaining from sizeable CPA firm (preferably with commercial financial experience); Regional exposures are a plus
• Good knowledge of accounting standards, taxation policies, listing rules and other related regulations;
• Solid experience in the areas of consolidation and financial reporting for Hong Kong listed companies would be an advantage;
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills;
