Job summary

A leading city and country club in Singapore is seeking an experienced accounting supervisor to manage daily financial operations. This role includes preparing journals and monthly financial reports, ensuring compliance with financial standards, and liaising with auditors. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in Accountancy, at least 5-7 years of relevant experience, and strong analytical and communication skills. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily accounting and financial operations.
  • Prepare monthly journals, accounts, and management reports.

  • Liaise with auditors and prepare audit schedules.
  • Process monthly Giro payments and print statements.
  • Prepare minutes of Finance committee and operations meetings.

About Us

What you will be doing


  • Responsible in supervising the daily accounting and financial operations of the accounts team;

  • Prepare monthly Club’s journals, accounts and all related management reporting timely;

  • Ensure the Club’s financial and accounting records are properly kept and recorded in accordance to Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and compliance with the regulatory requirements;

  • Preparing monthly I&E Statements;

  • Liaise with the relevant stakeholders to the completion of statutory reporting, including liaising with auditors on audit related queries, prepare audit schedules and financial report to auditors

  • Processing of monthly Giro payments and prints for statement of accounts;

  • Participates in Finance committee meetings and operations meeting. Prepare minutes of meetings;

  • Any other duties as assigned from time to time.


What we are looking for


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or related qualifications with at least 5-7 years of relevant experience;

  • Strong command of written and spoken English;

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders;

  • Independent and ability manage work with minimum supervision;

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to details;

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with knowledge of Pivot Tables, V- look-ups etc.
