Job Description:

This is a full time role for an Secretary (cum Interpreter) located in IMM Building. Our clients are hospital equipment and supplies in Singapore.

This role provides comprehensive administrative, communication, and coordination support to the Director and serves as a key liaison between the Singapore office and the Japan Headquarters. The position involves managing business correspondence, schedules, meetings, and confidential documentation in both English and Japanese. You will coordinate cross-departmental activities, prepare reports, and ensure smooth information flow across teams.

The role also includes full expatriate support, covering relocation, onboarding, visa processes, housing arrangements, and day-to-day assistance for Japan-based employees. You will act as the main point of contact for expatriates, ensuring they receive professional guidance and support throughout their assignment.

Overall, this position requires strong organisational skills, bilingual communication ability, cultural understanding, and the capability to handle sensitive matters with discretion.

Qualifications:

  • Min. Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Management, or a related field
  • Min. 2-3 years of relevant experience in an administrative or secretarial role (experience in a Japanese company is an advantage)
  • Skilled in interpretation, with advanced proficiency in English and Business Japanese (JLPT N1 or above preferred)
