SEA & India – Business Unit & Sales Coordinator

CBRE Data Centre Solutions (DCS) is seeking a highly motivated and versatile Business Unit & Sales Coordinator to join our growing team across Southeast Asia and India.

This dynamic role will be instrumental in driving sales governance and supporting operational excellence within our Data Centre Solutions business. The successful candidate will be a proactive, people‑oriented individual with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks and foster a collaborative culture across diverse stakeholder teams in the region. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual keen to grow their career within the exciting Data Centre space, specifically within sales and operations.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Governance & Proposal Management (approx. 80%)
  • Proposal Development: Lead and support the end‑to‑end proposal writing process, crafting compelling and accurate proposals, presentations, and other sales collateral. This includes gathering necessary information quickly and efficiently to meet submission deadlines.
  • Sales Process & Governance: Act as a central point of contact for sales governance, ensuring adherence to CBRE's established processes, policies, and best practices. This will involve understanding the sales lifecycle with minimal handholding and proactively identifying areas for improvement.
  • Sales Process Administration: Support the Business Development Manager to streamline sales operations by managing pre‑qualification questionnaires (PQQs) and requests for information (RFIs), conducting thorough research to build comprehensive information packs, and maintaining precise client and sales data for the Business Unit. This includes tracking sales activities, assisting with pitch preparations, coordinating client communications during the bid process, and obtaining quotes from subcontractors for proposals.
  • Information Gathering: Rapidly assimilate and consolidate information from various internal and external sources to support proposal development and sales strategies.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with sales teams, subject matter experts, and regional leadership to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the sales cycle.
  • Document Creation & Pricing Support: Utilize Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, to create bespoke, simple proposal templates while maintaining CBRE’s branding. To support the Business Development Manager / Director in inputting pricing elements into client‑facing documents.
Operations Support (approx. 20% of time)
  • Operational Excellence: Support the implementation and continuous improvement of operational processes within Data Centre Solutions, focusing on efficiency, risk mitigation, and service delivery.
  • Meeting & Communication Management: The BUSC will manage schedules and coordinate internal and external meetings, acting as a key point of contact for the BU. This also includes diligently taking meeting minutes, ensuring the timely execution of follow‑up actions, and contributing to clear communication by writing the Business Unit newsletter and other announcements to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Executive Director Calendar Management: The BUSC will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Executive Director’s calendar & meetings, and travel arrangements where necessary.
  • Cross‑functional Management: Collaborate with various internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Regional Team Management: Coordinate and manage tasks and initiatives across different stakeholder teams and within the Southeast Asia and India regions.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify and address operational challenges, contributing to solutions that enhance overall business performance.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Proposal Writing Expertise: Proven experience in writing clear, concise, and persuasive proposals and other client‑facing documents.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel are essential for creating professional presentations, templates, and managing pricing data.
  • Sales Process Acumen: A solid understanding of sales methodologies and governance principles, with the ability to quickly grasp and apply new processes.
  • Data Consolidation: Demonstrated ability to gather, analyse, and refine complex information into actionable insights.
  • Data Centre Understanding (Optional but highly valued): Basic knowledge of data centre operations, infrastructure, or related technologies is a plus. A keen willingness to learn and develop expertise in this area is essential, with a desire to grow within the Data Centre sales and operations domain.
