Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage sea freight import and export shipments from booking to final delivery.
  • Handle email and operational correspondence with customers, carriers, agents, and vendors.
  • Prepare and process export documentation in compliance with regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to export/import regulations and airline policies.
  • Provide quotations for export, import, and co-loading shipments.
  • Perform shipment tracking and status updates.
  • Coordinate cargo collection and delivery with transporters.
  • Liaise with vendors, carriers, and overseas agents.
  • Prepare billing, costing, and job closure documentation.
  • Support operational improvements and carry out ad-hoc duties.

Job Description & Requirements

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive

Sea Freight Operations Assistant to support and manage end-to-end sea freight import and export operations. The role involves close coordination with customers, carriers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective shipment handling.Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, as training will be provided.

Operation Hours: 5.5 days work week

  • 0900 - 1800 Mondays -Fridays
  • 0900 - 1230 Saturdays (WFH mostly)

Working Location: Airport Cargo Road

Job Descriptions

  • Coordinate and managesea freight import and export shipmentsfrom booking to final delivery.
  • Handleemail and operational correspondencewith customers, carriers, agents, and vendors.
  • Prepare and processexport documentationin compliance with air freight regulations and internal procedures.
  • Ensure adherence toexport/import regulations, compliance requirements, and airline policies.
  • Providequotationsfor export, import, and co-loading shipments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Performshipment tracking and status updates, proactively informing customers of any changes or delays.
  • Coordinatecargo collection and deliverywith transporters and warehouse operators.
  • Liaise withvendors, carriers, and overseas agentsto ensure smooth operations.
  • Preparebilling, costing, and job closure documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Support operational improvements and carry outad-hoc dutiesas assigned by management.
