Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Science Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of teaching experience in science, preferably across both primary and secondary school levels. This role requires a strong commitment to inspiring students, fostering curiosity, and delivering engaging lessons that meet diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality science lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
  • Teach and support students at both primary and secondary levels.
  • Develop innovative teaching strategies to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback on student progress.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages inquiry and critical thinking.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary learning experiences.
  • Participate in school events, enrichment programs, and professional development activities.
  • Work with leading science teachers to moderate the VANDA National Junior Science Olympiad and the Singapore Cambridge Science Challenge papers.
Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Education, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of proven teaching experience in science.
  • Experience teaching both primary and secondary school students preferred.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Passion for teaching and mentoring young learners.Ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
