This role will be covering both Malaysia & Singapore and will be driving business development activities and support sales operations for CityZone Express (CZE), a Kuehne+ Nagel (KN) company.
Job Responsibilities
- To develop new business for CZE Singapore & to look for new opportunities in high-tech industries
- To manage the day-to-day business operations activities directly.
- To lead the synergy business in Singapore between KN and CZE
- To work with KN including Road, Air and Sea and customers to develop business for CZE
- To ensure tender center activities are effectively managed + provide solution support as required.
- Achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
- To ensure pricing responses to customers are provided accurately + within the agreed timeframes.
- Collaborating with other countries on door-to-door pricing to create competitive solutions for customers.
- To ensure the full utilization of internal systems for customer proposal submissions.
- To establish + maintain solid long term, strategic relationships with vendors, Government Authorities and carriers to support our commercial positions.
Job Requirements
- Min. Diploma holder in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain with excellent interpersonal skills & problem solving
- Minimum 3-5 years of sales leadership experience in Road Logistics or Road Transportation.
- Strong knowledge of FTL/LTL services and cross-border trade for Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently
