Job Summary
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving business growth by identifying new sales opportunities, developing customer relationships, and managing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. This role involves leading sales initiatives, supporting team development, and collaborating with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction and business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services.
- Develop, promote, and grow company solutions into new and existing accounts.
- Identify and engage key decision-makers within customer organizations to generate leads and conduct cold outreach.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Understand customer needs and develop effective sales plans and solutions to meet those needs.
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Maintain a strong understanding of company products and services and provide guidance to customers and internal teams.
- Train, coach, and support sales team members; coordinate external training when required.
- Manage key customer accounts to maximize revenue and long-term partnerships.
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance analyses, and present findings to senior management.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and business objectives within the designated territory or market.
- Collaborate with finance, warehousing, and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Identify and implement improvements to sales processes and overall business operations.
- Represent the company at industry seminars, conferences, trade shows, and networking events as appropriate.
