Job summary

A laboratory equipment distributor is seeking a Sales Engineer in Singapore. You will act as a technical liaison to support sales efforts, present products to clients, and resolve customer issues. Ideal candidates will have a diploma in Materials or Chemical Engineering, and at least 2 years of relevant sales experience, along with excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in materials equipment sales or a related technical sales role.
  • Willingness to travel overseas for client meetings and industry events.

Position Title: Sales Engineer

Working Location: Marsiling

Working Hours: 5 Days, Monday – Friday (8.30am – 6pm)

Salary Package: Basic Salary + Commission + Variable Bonus

Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a technical liaison between the sales and engineering teams, offering support to drive sales efforts.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products or solutions based on technical requirements.
  • Present and explain technical solutions clearly to clients, ensuring alignment with their expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales Director to shape and execute effective sales strategies.
  • Gather and relay customer feedback to internal teams to support product development and strategic planning.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and forecasts using internal reporting tools.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly to ensure satisfaction and long-term relationships.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote offerings and stay informed on market trends.
