Job summary

A leading supplier of underwater technology in Singapore is looking for a Sales Coordinator to support the sales team and assist with office administration. Key responsibilities include preparing quotes, process orders, and collaborating closely with suppliers and the Sales Department in Denmark. The ideal candidate should possess a diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, have excellent communication skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Training will be provided for specific tools like Microsoft Navision.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent, with at least N/O-level education.
  • Ability to grasp issues across a broad spectrum of products.
  • Excellent telephone manner with a good command of English.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of Quotes/Purchase and Order Processing.
  • Support the Sales Team and assist in sales calculations.
  • Assist with Import/Export documentation of orders.

Vacancy: Sales Co-ordinator

MacArtney Singapore Pte Ltd is a member of the MacArtney Group, a leading global supplier of underwater technology - specialising in design, manufacture, sales and service of a wide range of systems to offshore operators, surveyors, the renewable energy sector, ocean sciences, security forces and navies across the world.

MacArtney Singapore Pte Ltd is currently seeking a suitable person to support our sales team and assist with office administration.

You will be working with our small team of professionals in our Singapore Office located at Tampines

Duties
  • Preparation of Quotes/Purchase and Order Processing
  • Ability to read simple technical drawings.
  • Support to Sales Team
  • Assist in sales calculations
  • Support in yearly stock taking
  • Close cooperation with Sales Department in Denmark.
  • Cordially answer phone calls/emails and refer/respond as appropriate.
  • Import/Export documentations of orders & arranging freight/shipments/collections/customs.
  • Close cooperation with suppliers.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks in the organization.
Attributes
  • Must possess a Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent, with at least N/O-level education.
  • The ability to grasp issues across a broad spectrum of products
  • Well-versed in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • To be able to work as part of a team
  • Can work under pressure and in a confident manner.
  • Energetic, self-motivated.
  • Excellent telephone manner with a good command of English.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Navision is an advantage although training will be given.
  • We are looking for someone with good communication skills & attention to detail, who shows initiative, resourcefulness, and enthusiasm in tackling a variety of tasks in a busy sales office.
