On behalf of one of its clients in the IT Hardware industry, the French Chamber of Commerce is recruiting a Business Development Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity for a sales-driven individual to manage the full sales cycle, engage with key business accounts, and thrive in a rapidly expanding sector that includes IT infrastructure and IT Asset Disposition (ITAD).

The hiring company is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative to join their fast-growing team in the IT infrastructure and ITAD space. This is a client-facing, performance-oriented role requiring both commercial acumen and a strong understanding of technical solutions.

The Business Development Representative will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and helping expand our footprint across key verticals including telecom, managed services, and enterprise IT.

In this role, they will take the initiative to research potential clients, initiate outbound contact through both personalized emails and impactful phone calls, and generate interest in the company’s solutions. They will work closely with internal teams to assess client needs, craft customized proposals, and ensure that solutions are well-aligned with the technical and operational requirements of each prospect. The ability to translate client challenges into actionable sales opportunities will be key. In-person visits with clients may also be necessary, conducted alongside the sales manager, to help reinforce trust and deepen engagement.

The representative will be expected to manage all stages of the sales process—from lead generation and qualification to quoting and closing deals—while maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in the company’s CRM system. Regular reporting on sales activity and performance metrics will be required to support transparency and continuous improvement.

In addition to direct client engagement, the role will also involve representing the company at industry events, trade shows, and marketing campaigns, thereby strengthening brand visibility and generating new leads within the sector.

A critical aspect of the position involves supporting the development and expansion of the ITAD business line. This includes identifying and onboarding new strategic partners, assisting in the structuring of new service offerings, and contributing to regional growth initiatives. The candidate will be expected to play a key role in helping the business line scale and gain market share, potentially evolving into a leadership role with oversight responsibilities in new markets.

Requirements
Education
  • Degree or diploma in Business, IT, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Sales Experience & Mindset
  • A natural hunter's mindset – proactive, goal-driven, and resilient.
  • Previous experience in telesales, telemarketing, or inside sales is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable engaging customers both remotely and in the field.
  • Consultative sales approach with a strong focus on understanding client needs and long-term relationship building.
Performance & Tools
  • Results-oriented and familiar with KPIs and managing a structured sales pipeline.
  • Proficient in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).

Technical Awareness
  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and related technical sales.
  • Familiarity with key hardware and services in networking, cybersecurity, servers, storage, and data centers.
