Job description

• Position : Safety Officer / Coordinator (WSHO) – Up to $4,500 – Alexandra
• Location : Alexandra
• Working hours : 5 Days Work Week – Monday to Friday: 8AM to 5PM / 8.30AM to 5.30PM / 9AM to 6PM / 9.30AM to 6.30PM / 10AM to 7PM
• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $4,500 Basic + OT + AWS + Performance Bonus (Up to 3 Months) + Medical Benefits ($500/year) with Dependents Coverage + 14 - 17 Days Annual Leave + Company Activities + Company Trips

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Workplace Safety & Health Management System in compliance with MOM regulations and recognised standards.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations, ensuring timely corrective and preventive actions.
• Provide professional WSH advice to management, supervisors, and site teams.
• Plan and deliver WSH training and safety promotion programmes to strengthen safety awareness and culture.
• Prepare safety reports, data analysis, and statutory submissions required by authorities.
• Liaise with relevant stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and project partners.
• Attend project sites as required, including night inspections (eg. 12:00 a.m. – 5:00 a.m.) when operationally necessary.

Requirements

• MOM-registered and licensed WSHO with a valid practising certificate.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant WSHO experience, preferably with LTA and SP Group–related projects.
• Strong knowledge of the Workplace Safety and Health Act, subsidiary legislation, Codes of Practice, and Singapore Standards.
• Proven experience in risk management, audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety reporting tools.
