Job summary

A leading safety management firm in Singapore is seeking a Registered Safety Officer to develop and enforce health and safety policies. Responsibilities include conducting safety audits, implementing safety plans at construction sites, and maintaining safety records. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of relevant experience, excellent analytical and communication skills, and is bilingual in English and Chinese. This position requires the ability to start immediately and preferably having a valid driving license.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of working experience in health and safety.
• Possess a valid driving license and own transport.
• Fluent in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and develop Company’s safety policy and procedures.
• Assist sites to implement health and safety plans.
• Conduct health and safety audits.
• Maintain health and safety statistics and records.
• Investigate accidents and recommend preventive measures.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Formulate and develop Company’s safety policy and procedures
• Assist and enforce sites to implement site health and safety plans
• Perform health and safety audits on sites
• Conduct periodic health and safety training for site personnel
• Maintain Company's health and safety statistics and records
• Liaise with Government Agencies on health and safety issues, application of factory permit and other safety statutory requirements for compliance by sites
• Investigate all accidents which occur and recommend appropriate health & safety measures to prevent their occurrence
• Assist Senior Project Manager / Project Manager on all site safety matters
• Ensure the Occupational Health Safety management programme are effectively implemented and maintained
• Conduct and plan safety training awareness programme
• Preferably have a valid driving license and with own transport.

Requirements

• Registered Safety Officer with MOM.
• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Possess excellent analytical skills, interpersonal skills and communication skills.
• Efficient, Able to work independently.
• Able to speak and write good English.
