Job summary

A construction firm in Singapore is looking for a WSH Coordinator with a minimum of 3 years' experience in the construction industry. The candidate will ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health regulations, compile safety reports, supervise safety measures, and conduct weekly toolbox meetings. An advance certificate in workplace safety and health is required. This role involves close coordination with supervisors to enhance workplace safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a WSH coordinator in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and standards.
• Ability to conduct safety inspections and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with WSH/Environmental Control regulations.
• Follow up on safety inspection findings and assist with investigations.

Job Descriptions

• Ensure compliance of operations with Workplace Safety and Health/Environmental Control regulations and statutory requirements
• Follow up with the committee site walk inspection findings for WSH Officer to close up the report and assisting WSH Officer on incident/accident investigation.
• Responsible for daily checklists are properly documented and carry out mass toolbox meeting once a week.
• Coordination with relevant site in-charge on improving the worksite safety and cleanliness.
• Ensure supervisors and workers are following safe work procedures compliance.
• Assist WSHO to organize monthly Safety Committee meetings and put up safety reports, including safety issues
• Compiles all relevant reports and records and carry out daily safety inspection
• Supervise all workers in providing safety measures and procedures in accordance with MOM Regulations
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior from time to time
