Job summary

A safety management company in Singapore is seeking a Project Safety Coordinator to support HSE risk assessments and ensure control measures are effectively implemented. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in industrial construction projects and hold a WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety. This role involves promoting safety culture and compliance, delivering training, and conducting inspections to improve workplace safety standards. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Support line management in conducting HSE risk assessments and ensure control measures are implemented.
  • Report HSE incidents and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
  • Assist and guide incident and near-miss investigations to improve risk control.
  • Share lessons learned and good safety practices with management and workers.
  • Support the Site / HSE Manager in tracking and reporting project HSE objectives and KPIs.
  • Help managers and supervisors understand their HSE legal duties and project requirements.
  • Promote safe behavior and support project safety improvement programs.
  • Foster a strong health, safety, and environmental culture on site.
  • Ensure HSE equipment, tools, and PPE are available and properly used.
  • Assist in planning and carrying out HSE-related activities and initiatives.
  • Conduct safety observations and site inspections.
  • Prepare and submit safety observation reports, monthly inspection reports, accident statistics, and near-miss reports.
  • Deliver safety training, inductions, and refresher courses to supervisors.
  • Perform other HSE-related duties as required by the Employer.
