About the Global Payment Team

The Global Payment team of ByteDance provides payment solutions - including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, and so on to ensure that our users have a smooth and secure payment experience on ByteDance platforms including TikTok.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for design and construction of risk systems, clear requirements and documents, promote system construction and implementation.
• Responsible for risk operation management requirements, take into account both reasonable implementation logic and good user experience.
• In-depth understanding of upstream and downstream systems to ensure the rational application of risk systems in overall architecture.
• In-depth understanding of business, responsible for integration between business and risk systems, and cooperate with the strategy team to exactuate.
• Work closely with risk control data, and observe performance of risk strategies on business sides and assist in strategy optimization.
• Lead risk product research to ensure that risk systems have the ability to prevent various risks.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• In-depth understanding of risk control business and process, familiar with the overall implementation process of risk control products, including demand analysis, program design, project management, etc.
• Strong logical thinking skills, strong execution and learning ability.
• Results oriented and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment requiring prioritization and ownership.
• Confident communicator with the ability to interact at all levels, including working closely with cross‑functional teams.
• Aptitude to identify new ways to approach risk management and to think creatively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, statistics, finance or related majors is preferred.
• 5 years and above relevant experience in planning risk control platforms for banks, consumer finance companies, or well‑known domestic and foreign internet finance companies are preferred.
• Having a technical background and understanding the basic backend technical framework would be an added advantage.
• Experience in planning of risk control platform requirements and processes, including but not limited to decision management systems, credit review systems, data management platforms, model platforms, anti‑fraud systems, etc.
