Position Overview

Vinflow Bistro and Wine Bar is seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, lead our team, and ensure exceptional guest experiences at our fine dining wine bistro specializing in Western cuisine. Located in Singapore, we are looking for the ideal candidate who will be passionate about hospitality, wine, and culinary excellence, possess strong leadership skills, and have a proven track record in fine dining restaurant management.

Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
  • Oversee all daily restaurant operations including opening and closing procedures
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, and consistency
  • Implement and maintain operational standards and procedures
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally
Staff Leadership & Development
  • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise restaurant staff
  • Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching
  • Foster a positive work environment and maintain team morale
  • Ensure proper staff training on food safety, customer service, and company policies
Administrative Support
  • Assist with scheduling and administrative tasks as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of daily operations and incidents
  • Support implementation of company policies and procedures
Wine Program & Beverage Management
  • Oversee wine selection and maintain wine inventory, wine list accuracy and pricing
  • Ensure proper wine storage, handling, and service standards
  • Collaborate with sommelier on menu pairings and special events
Customer Service Excellence
  • Maintain high standards of customer service throughout the restaurant
  • Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction and address concerns
  • Develop strategies to enhance the overall dining experience
  • Monitor and respond to online reviews and feedback
Required Qualifications
Experience & Education
  • Minimum 3-5 years of restaurant management experience in Western cuisine establishments
  • Fine dining experience strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of successfully managing upscale restaurant operations
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Bilingual capabilities
  • Understanding of Singapore's food service regulations and licensing requirements
  • Proficiency with POS systems and restaurant management software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Experience managing wine programs and beverage operations in fine dining settings
  • Wine knowledge and certifications (Court of Master Sommeliers, Wine & Spirit Education Trust, etc.) is preferred
  • Prefer Singapore Citizen or PR
