We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Chinese Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will ensure excellent customer service, efficient operations, high food quality standards, and strong team leadership while driving sales and profitability.
Manage day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring smooth front-of-house and back-of-house coordination
Supervise, train, and motivate service staff to deliver excellent customer service
Ensure food quality, presentation, and service standards meet restaurant expectations
Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints professionally and promptly
Monitor inventory, order supplies, and control food and operating costs
Prepare staff schedules and manage manpower efficiently
Ensure compliance with food hygiene, safety regulations, and company policies
Coordinate with kitchen team on menu execution, promotions, and special events
Manage cash handling, daily sales reports, and basic administrative duties
Support marketing initiatives and upselling to increase revenue
Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager, preferably in a Chinese restaurant
Strong knowledge of Chinese cuisine, dining culture, and service etiquette
Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work weekends, public holidays, and shifts
Basic computer skills (POS systems, reporting)
Knowledge of Singapore food safety and hygiene standards is an advantage
