Job summary

A construction firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Resident Technical Officer (RTO) for a school project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in air conditioning, mechanical ventilation, plumbing, and fire protection. A minimum of 8 years experience as an RTO is required, along with a relevant diploma. The contract duration is approximately 21 months, starting around 1 Nov 2025. Work location is Pasir Ris.

• At least 8 years experience as RTO.
• Experience in school projects preferred.

Job description

Responsibilities

• To carry out site supervision and inspection of the works including any off-site manufacturing as instructed by the consultant team so as to ensure that the works are constructed to require quality and accuracy.
• To monitor progress of the works on site and at any off-site manufacturing facilities and report delays immediately.
• To provide standing supervision as and when directed by the consultant team.

Qualifications

• The RTO should have extensive experience in the supervision of air conditioning and mechanical ventilation, plumbing, sanitary, fire protection is a must. With preferred experience in construction of school project would be an added advantage.
• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
• Have at least 8 years experience as RTO
• Prior experience in school would be advantageous
• Able to start work approximately by 1 Nov 2025
