The Department of Ophthalmology, National University Hospital, is seeking candidates who are highly motivated and willing to join us for a challenging and fulfilling appointment as Resident Physician.

Responsibilities

As a Resident Physician, you will be responsible for overall supervision and day-to-day running of the clinics (onsite and offsite), including patient care, exercising good diagnostic and clinical management acumen.

You will supervise and teach Medical officers and Primary Care Partners (Family Physicians and General Practitioners), attend and participate in all departmental teaching rounds including the combined Hospital teaching seminars, clinical-pathological case conferences, etc.

There will also be opportunities for you to participate in department initiatives (e.g. setting up team-based care), new services (e.g. running a Diagnostic Test Reading Centre) and research projects, where appropriate.

• Be in active clinical practice

• Must be registered with the Singapore Medical Council

• Able to demonstrate good diagnostic and clinical management acumen
