Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Electrical Resident Engineer to lead the site supervision team on Electrical and Building Construction works. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of relevant experience in supervising electrical works in water/used water treatment works and must be registered with IES as a Resident Engineer (M&E). Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of construction experience in supervising electrical works.
• Registered with IES as Resident Engineer (M&E).
• Preferably recognised by the PE Board, Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site supervision team on all the Electrical and Building Construction works.
• Assist Chief Resident Engineer and Construction Manager on Electrical site inspection issues.
• Attend all site/project related meetings and lead in technical discussions.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Lead the site supervision team on all the Electrical and Building Construction works.
• Assist Chief Resident Engineer and Construction Manager on all Electrical site inspection issues, contract related matters and support the identification of defects and supervise rectification works.
• Address and respond to all Contractor’s RFI’s and technical submittals. Other work scopes include but not limited to assess method statements/instrumentation reading, coordinate with other discipline engineers and liaise with design team/QP from HQ.
• Attend all site/project related meetings, discussions with clients and/or Contractors and to lead in technical and work progress discussions.

Qualifications

• Good graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably recognised by the PE Board, Singapore.
• Minimum 10 years of construction experience in supervising electrical works in water/used water treatment works.
• Registered with IES as Resident Engineer (M&E).
• A person with good communication and leadership skills.
