Job description

This will be a 3-years renewable contract position based in Jurong West.

Responsibilities

• Research on robotics foundation model, vision-language-action model, imitation learning and perception.
• Develop intelligent robotic systems capable of autonomous tasks.
• Integrate AI-driven robotics into real-world industrial applications.
• Support the development of technical roadmap.
• Initiate new research ideas for proposal preparation.
• Collaborate with other research scientists on interdisciplinary projects.
• Push the boundaries of robotics.

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, Robotics or relevant discipline.
• Good track record and research experience in robotics, computer vision, or related areas.
• Proficiency in Python or C++, or AI and robot frameworks (e.g. PyTorch, Tensorflow, ROS, etc).
• Hands-on experience on real-world robot manipulation.
• Experience with 3D simulation tools (such as Gazebo, Issac Sim).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.
• Able to quickly adapt to new areas of research and technology.
