A leading Fintech company in Singapore is seeking a Regulatory Product Compliance Senior Manager to ensure compliance in the development of the Assets product. The successful candidate will have over 7 years of relevant experience in the retail investment sector and deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks in Singapore or Australia. We’re looking for a Regulatory Product Compliance Senior Manager to join our growing Product Compliance team to support the Assets Product Compliance team in APAC. This role is hands‑on, a unique opportunity to have an impact on Wise’s mission, grow as a product and compliance manager, and help save millions more people money.
In 2022, Wise launched the Assets product in Singapore, a new type of account. In 2024, the Assets product was launched in Australia. Assets allows customers to invest the money they hold with Wise in different asset classes such as stocks or bonds while retaining the instant access and spend functionality of a checking account.
Your mission is to work with our product teams based both in Singapore and London to improve our Assets offering in Singapore in a compliant manner through a deep understanding of the regulatory requirements and regulators’ expectations around investment products. You will also support the product teams on expanding the Assets offering in new APAC markets.
This is a first line Product Compliance role, embedded in the Product team.
By demonstrating a deep understanding of the Wise Assets product and local regulatory requirements you support Product and operational teams on how to interpret regulatory requirements, improve processes and our product to avoid regulatory breaches and/or incidents;
In collaboration with Risk and Compliance second line and the product team, identify and align on the main regulatory risks, gaps and forthcoming regulations. Present this in a very clear and understandable way to the wider teams, and work with them on defining the solutions and execution of mitigating actions
Deeply understand regulatory needs, translate this into solutions and work together with the Product Teams to build compliant new products/features and services in a customer-oriented way;
Perform regulatory analysis of new products/features and services, and implement required controls prior to launch.
Identify opportunities to improve our product proposition / competitiveness by thoroughly analysing relevant regulations and challenging existing interpretations and market practice
Represent Wise in external meetings and being able to clearly and effectively articulate the Wise Assets Product;
Provide input on regulatory related matters, always representing Wise customer-oriented culture while ensuring compliance.

Min 7 years of relevant experience in a compliance role within the retail investments, fund management, broker‑dealer, or capital markets industry;
Deep working knowledge of securities regulations in Singapore OR Australia e.g. MAS’ Securities and Futures Act (“SFA”) OR Australia Corporations Act;
Familiar with the evolving regulatory expectations of the MAS or ASIC / APRA with regards to Capital Market firms and ideally even Payment Services / Electronic Money firms;
Ability to prioritise effectively and call‑out what are the key areas of improvement and implementation required from a regulatory point of view;
Ability to effectively communicate with Product Managers and Engineers and provide practical, actionable, and value added recommendations;
Problem solving attitude, with the ability to use regulation together with data to drive business decisions;
A natural owner, that drives and delivers projects from inception to completion, timely and with attention to the details;
Willingness to travel, as the Assets team is mainly located in London; and
Legally authorised to work in Singapore
Familiar with licensing and regulatory frameworks in multiple jurisdictions across APAC
