Job Summary

Provide comprehensive business and legal affairs support to regional business units and corporate functions. Serve as a trusted advisor on strategic, financial, and reputational matters, while ensuring full compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements across all operating countries.

Key Accountabilities

Business & Legal Advisory

• Draft, review, and negotiate distribution, resale, vendor/supplier, and licensing agreements in line with internal policies and risk thresholds.
• Provide timely, practical legal advice to internal stakeholders, translating complex legal concepts into clear business guidance.
• Advise on compliance matters, including anti-bribery, data protection, approval workflows, internal policies, IP, and business strategies.
• Support labour and employment-related matters.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks arising from daily operations while balancing commercial objectives.
• Guide on intellectual property and brand-protection issues.
• Conduct internal and partner education to strengthen risk awareness and compliance ownership.

Corporate Governance

• Oversee statutory and regulatory corporate filings to ensure accuracy and timely submission.
• Ensure proper reporting of company activities in line with local legal requirements.
• Serve as the legal representative for matters requiring formal support.
• Review and approve legal aspects relating to audit, finance, and compliance activities.
• Maintain and update intercompany agreements to comply with local tax and legal standards.

External Counsel Management

Manage and optimize external legal spend on a per-matter basis while supporting broader organisational initiatives.
