Role Overview

We are looking for a Finance Transformation Lead / Data Architect with strong experience in the financial services industry. This role is responsible for planning, leading, and delivering initiatives that improve the efficiency, digitalisation, and strategic capabilities of the Finance function. You will drive the transformation of finance processes, systems, and reporting frameworks to support business strategy and regulatory requirements across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Finance Transformation Strategy
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive finance transformation roadmap aligned with organisational goals.
  • Modernise finance processes, systems, and operating models to boost scalability, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Identify improvements across financial close, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Process Improvement & Automation
  • Review and redesign core finance workflows to improve accuracy, timeliness, and internal controls.
  • Lead automation initiatives, including RPA, data analytics, and AI-driven solutions.
  • Establish standardised finance processes and governance frameworks across the Finance function.
  • Systems & Data Management
  • Oversee enhancements or rollout of financial systems (e.g., ERP, consolidation, reporting platforms) on a regional or global scale.
  • Strengthen data governance, data integrity, and reporting accuracy across financial systems.
  • Partner with IT, Risk, and Finance teams to ensure proper system integration and alignment of data across the enterprise.
  • Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Champion change management across Finance, promoting innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with business units, Risk, Compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with operational and regulatory needs.
  • Communicate transformation goals, milestones, and progress to senior leaders and relevant teams.
  • Performance & Governance
  • Define and track KPIs for transformation initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, governance standards, and risk management requirements.
  • Provide regular updates, insights, and recommendations to the CFO and executive leadership.
Skill Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related fields.
  • At Least 12 years of experience in business architecture, ERP transformation, or enterprise solutions within the financial services industry.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management experience across large, complex regional or global projects.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with confidence in engaging senior management.
  • Solid understanding of data structures, system architecture, and basic programming concepts.
