They are searching for a resilient, hands‑on Accountant based in Singapore to manage the finances for their regional entities. This is a crucial mandate, as the role will actively participate in a significant period of financial system upgrades and process automation. They require a meticulous professional who can manage the full scope of accounting while possessing the tenacity to drive and implement operational improvements.

About the job

Reporting to the Regional Finance manager, you will take complete charge of the general ledger and full set of accounts for multiple Southeast Asian operating companies. This includes the precise execution of all transactional accounting: accurate recording of receivables (AR), payables (AP), and all bank activities, with a focus on robust project‑related accounting entries. Routine duties involve performing all monthly bank, AR/AP sub‑ledger, and intercompany reconciliations, preparing necessary GL journals, and processing weekly vendor payments. Furthermore, the Accountant will manage all local statutory compliance requirements, such as GST submissions for Singapore, and serve as a primary finance liaison, providing schedules and data to external consultants for tax filings and the annual statutory audit.

Skills and experience required

• Degree in Finance/Accounting, or related field with professional accreditation
• Relevant years of professional accounting experience handling the full set of accounts for multiple entities
• Proven working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
• Direct experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is highly desirable
• Must be a detail‑oriented, self‑directed, and dependable individual who is resilient to change and thrives in a dynamic environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines in a high‑volume, fast‑paced setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for effective internal and external reporting and coordination
