Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage the administration of subcontracts and coordinate Requests for Quotations (RFQs). The ideal candidate has at least three years of experience in quantity surveying and relevant qualifications. Responsibilities include liaising with construction teams, sourcing subcontractors, and assisting in quantity surveying tasks. Competitive compensation is offered.

Qualifications

  • 3 years’ experience in quantity surveying and sub-contract administration of Construction Project.
  • Possess relevant tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or Contract/Construction Law.
  • Experience with large-scale process related construction project is preferable.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with construction team to prepare document for Request for Quotation (RFQ) or Open Tender.
  • Source potential tenderers/subcontractors and send out invitation for RFQs.
  • Coordinate queries and clarifications between tenderers and construction team during RFQ stage.
  • Coordinate post-tender interviews between tenderers, construction team, QS team and contracts team.
  • Assist QS manager and contracts manager with quantity surveying matters.
  • Assist contracts team in administration of subcontracts.
  • Handle payment request received from subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Perform any other adhoc tasks assigned by QS Manager / Contracts Manager.

Requirements:
