Starting salary: commensurate with experience. Higher remuneration will be considered with proven record of employment of minimum 2–3 years’ experience in Interior Design for Corporate and Commercial Projects.

Job Description (Interior Design in Corporate & Commercial Portfolio Only)

• Review blueprints and construction plans, understand technical plans, layouts, and joinery drawings, including sprinklers, plumbing, M&E, data, security for Interior Design in Corporate & Commercial spaces.
• Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and related paperwork. Prepare and submit variation and cost claims.
• Responsible for quantity take off, sourcing of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Procurement of materials and project related items. Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor and control project costs to stay within budget.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned by superior to support project completion.
• Knowledge of government and statutory regulations for Corporate (Offices) and Commercial interior design spaces.
• Independent and effective team player, collaborating on multi-projects of various stages, ensuring deliverables within set time & expectations. Possess strong interpersonal skills and work effectively in a team.

Requirements

1. Proven working experience for minimum 2–3 years in quantity surveyor interior spaces of Corporate (offices) and Commercial space.
2. Understand the technicality of plans, layouts and joinery drawings, including sprinklers, plumbing, M&E, data, security for Interior Design in Corporate & Commercial spaces.
3. Converse, write and prepare documents in English is a must since we are working with a diverse multi‑lingual team member.
4. Able to work as part of a team independently; work under pressure and with a sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines.
5. Manage project timeline and cost, carry out rates and commercial negotiations.
6. Managing the contracts in accordance with the terms and conditions with respect to financial complications.
7. Assist MDC Directors on contractual disputes and arbitration.
